Recently Thane ke Late Shri Ramchandra Thakur Swimming Pool me held ak event me Palk Strait ko cross karne me historic uplabdhi haasil karne wale 12 young talented Indian swimmers ko sammanit kiya gaya.
Chief Guest, Thane ke Deputy Collector Shri DipakChavan ne Swimmers ki remarkable achievement ko praise kiya and unke parents and coaches kounke unwavering support keliye commend kiya.
Iss event me renowned cricket coach and mentor Shri Jwala Singh, jo Jwala Sports Foundation and Mumbai Cricket Club ke founder hain, ne bhi baat ki. Unhone Swimmers me self-belief paida karne me coaches ke role ko emphasize kiya, jisse we unthinkable uplabdhi haasil kar sakein. Singh ne apni adage ko mention Kiya, “First the mind thinks, and then the body does.”
Hosting sports facility centre ke social activists, Sujay Patki and Manoj Pillay ne bhi team ko congratulate kiya and isme shaamil sabhi visible and invisible logon ke efforts ko acknowledge kiya.

Ye abhiyan Sri Lanka ke Talaimannar se India ke Dhanushkodi tak Palk Strait me tair kar 23km ki distance relay pattern me cover ki gayi. 9 se 18 saal ke swimmers ne 30km/hr ki wind speed and South-South-South Westerly direction me 1.1m wave heights ke saath adverse weather condition ko face karte huye 10 hours and 40 minutes me tairaki complete ki.
Swimmers ne 4 May 2024 ko Sri Lanka ke Talaimannar se apni journey start ki aur dophar tak successfully India ke Dhanushkodi pahonch gaye. Challenging conditions ke bawajood, young swimmers ne exceptional grit, willpower, endurance and determination ka pradarshan Kiya.
Team ko Thane ke Ramchandra Thakur Swimming pool me Chief Coach Narendra Pawarke guidance me Bharti Sawant ke assistance training di gayi.
Iss project ko ak former international swimmer, Arjuna and Shiv Chhatrapati awardee and renowned sports mentor and influencer Arti Pradhan ne lead kiya.
Ye achievement young swimmers aur unke support system ki hard work and dedication ka result hai, jo future endeavors ke liye ak high standard ko set karta hai.
