Shillong: Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma ne Mawkhanu me state-of-the-art swimming pool banane ki planning announce kiya hai.
Sangma ne kaha, “ye North East me sabse bade swimming pools me se ak hoga aur main iske liye khush hun.” Unhone bataya ki Olympic size ke swimming pool and tennis court ke liye detailed project report (DPR) already taiyar ho chuki hai.
Iske alawa, Chief Minister ne Mawkhanu me 40,000 seats wale football stadium ko announce kiya, jo country ka sabse bada stadium hoga.
Unhone kaha, “Hum sabse bade football stadium ke liye DPR bhi taiyar kar rahe hain, jo Mawkhanu me hoga. Ye football ke liye dedicated 40k seats ki capacity wala stadium hoga aur ye desh ka sabse bada stadium hoga. Ye kuchh aisa hai jiska hum sach me wait kar rahe hain.”
Iss beech, last month ki shuruaat me, CM Conrad ke Sangma ne Shillong Peak Viewpoint par Meghalaya ki first passenger ropeway project ki foundation rakhi, jisse Shillong city ke panoramic views provide karne aur state ke tourism infrastructure ko enhance karne ke purpose se Rs 175 crores ki initiative ko official commencement hui.
Foundation originally January 2024 me President Draupadi Murmu dwara rakhi gayi thi. Shillong Peak and Lawsothun ko connect karne wale iss project se dono domestic and international tourists ke attract hone ki expectation hai.
CM and TM Paul Lyngdoh ne construction consortium KEC International Limited- Tantia Construction Limited JV, ko acceptance letter hand over kar diya, jisse officially construction phase start ho gayi. Ropeway ka kaam French Company POMA ke saath partnership me kiya jayega, jo mainly key equipment supply karegi.
