Manya Wadhwa Ne Jeeta SFA Championships – Indian Swimming News

SFA Championships ke day 7 par spectators ki spirit kaafi high rahi thi Kabaddi aur Throwball ke kick-off ke sath. The Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence ne total 7 sports ko host kiya tha jisme Swimming, Badminton, Basketball, Football, Kabaddi, Table Tennis aur Throwbal included tha. ‘Number one school in sports’ ka title jeetne ki battle mein ye apne climax mei pahoch gaya tha, q ki competition fierce tha kaafi.

Us din ne witnessed kiya U-8 to U-18 categories mein swimming ke much-anticipated finals ko jisme young swimmers ne freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, aur butterfly strokes mein apne techniques ko showcased kiya. Us din extraordinary-talent ki 12-year-old swimmer bhi light mein aai. Unka naam tha Manya Wadhwa, from Maaruthi Magnolia Public School, jinhone 4 gold medals jeeta tha SFA Championships ke 50m freestyle, 100m breaststroke, 100m freestyle aur Butterfly stroke 100m mein. Inke proud father Raj Wadhwa ne apni daughter ki journey ke baare mein bolte huye kaha, “Manya ne swimming sirf two years pahle hi shuru ki thi, q ki hum chahte the ki unki active lifestyle ko maintain rakhe aur gadgets se dur rakhe. Jab unhone swimming karna shuru kiya tha, coach ne unke potential ko recognised kiya aur recommended kiya ki Manya ko professional competitions mein participation ko pursue karna chahiye. Hume sport ke liye unke passion par extremely proud tha aur as a family, humne unhe support karna continue rakha.” State level par 50m freestyle mein unhone silver jeeta. Manya ne Karnataka ko represented kiya tha 2023 mein Orissa mein huye Nationals mein India mein overall 12th rank ke sath south zone National meet mein unhone 2 gold aur 1 silver jeeta tha. South zone State meet mein unhone 3 gold, 1 silver aur 2 bronze medal bhi jeeta tha.
