Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.
Dahlia Linkow of Denver, Colorado has announced her commitment to swim and study at Lewis and Clark College this upcoming fall. Linkow trains year-round with the Denver Tritons Swim Team, and is wrapping up her senior year at George Washington High School.
Linkow shared why she chose Lewis and Clark with SwimSwam:
“Lewis and Clark offers many opportunities in and out of the pool. The team is beyond welcoming and it’s such a supporting environment. I’m beyond excited to join them in the fall and start the next journey of my swimming career!”
Linkow’s focus is primarily on breaststroke events, but she also races sprint freestyle. She competed at the REX Coaches Invite in December, where she earned 68th overall in the 100 breaststroke (1:17.50). She also contributed to two relays, logging a 27.05 on the 200 freestyle relay and a 34.83 on the breaststroke leg of the 200 medley relay.
In February of 2022, Linkow competed individually at the Colorado High School State Championships (4A). She finished 31st overall in the 100 breaststroke, swimming a 1:15.07 to put her half a second shy of her personal best time in the event.
Top SCY Times:

- 100 breast – 1:14.57
Lewis and Clark College is an NCAA Division III program located in Portland, Oregon. The Pioneers compete in the Northwest Conference, where the women finished 7th out of 9 teams. Their top performer at the Northwest Conference Championships was Aniqah Gaffoor, who earned 3rd in the 100 fly (57.84).
It took a time of 1:13.75 to advance to finals in the 100 breaststroke this year, meaning Linkow is currently less than a second outside of scoring range. The Pioneers did not have anyone entered in the individual event this season, but had freshman AJ Schroeder as the breaststroker on the 200 and 400 medley relays. Schroeder split times of 32.29 and 1:12.36, respectively.
Linkow is the only public commitment for Lewis and Clark’s incoming class. The program is led by second-year head coach Murilo Martins.
