Kya Olympian Sajan Prakash 2026 Asian Games Ke Baad Retirement Lenge?

Two-time Olympian Sajan Prakash ne 17 January ko ak significant milestone achieve ki aur wo 12 saalon me prestigious Arjuna Award receive karne wale first swimmer ban gaye.

Rashtrapati Bhavan me honor receive karte huye unhone ise “swimming ki jeet” bataya aur apne sport ke lambe time se najarandaj kiye gaye contributions ko celebrate kiya. Sajan ki journey resilience and excellence ki hai.

2016 me Rio Olympics ke liye qualify karne wale akmatra Indian male, unhone Tokyo 2020 Games ke liye ‘A’ standard ko complete karke history create kar diya. Halanki, injuries ne unhe Paris 2024 me participate karne se rok diya, lekin unki achievements abhi bhi shaandar hain. National and South Asia me number 1 rank wale Sajan ne Asia me 5th aur 2018 World Championships me 11th place ke saath notable positions achieve kiye hain.

Future ko dekhte huye, Sajan Uttarakhand me hone wale National Games ki taiyari kar rahe hain, jisme wo 50m, 100m aur 200m butterfly events me participate karenge aur podium par pahochne ka aim rakhenge. Halanki, unka “singular focus” 2026 Asian Games par hai, Jahan wo ak lasting legacy chhodne ke liye determined hain.

“2026 Asian Games ke baad main apne swimming career ke baare me decision lunga. Abhi mera target podium finish hai,” Sajan ne kaha, unhone hint diya ki Asian glory ki unki khoj ke baad retirement ho sakti hai.

Apni journey par vichar karte huye, Sajan ne India me recognition ke liye swimming ke struggle ko acknowledge kiya. “Ye award future generations ke liye motivation hai. Ye swimming ko elevate karne aur doosron ko isme career banane ke liye inspire karne ki taraf ak step hai.”

Filhal, unki nazarein pool par tiki hui hain, apne event me excellence haasil karne aur Indian swimming ke liye ak brighter future ko badhawa dene mein. 2026 ke Asian Games me unki journey ka end ho ya na ho, Sajan ki legacy pahle se hi ak pioneer ke roop me set ho chuki hai, jinhone Indian aquatics ke liye standard raise kiya.
