Assam ke Barpeta district me Khel Maharan 2.O ke liye district-level swimming trial 29 January ko successfully held kiya gaya, jisme district ke different parts se around 100 swimmers ne participate kiya.
100 me se 22 ko Bongaigaon me hone wali forthcoming zonal competitions me Barpeta ko represent karne ke liye select kiya gaya hai.
Notably, swimmers ne event ki taiyari ke liye swimming pool tak pahoch na hone ke baawjood respectable timings record kiye.
Trials 2 categories- Under-14 and Under-17 me backstroke and freestyle ke liye held kiye gaye the. Balapara, Bajali me Kaladia Banani resort me swimming pool ko venue ke roop me serve kiya gaya.
Iss event me shaamil hone wale kai bachchon ko Bluestar Physical Academy me coach kiya gaya tha, jo rural kids ko swimming sikhane me garv mahsoos karta hai.
Academy coach Saminul Islam ne kaha, “Bachchon ne apne determination ke karan trials me achha perform kiya.” “Agar hum unhe lagbhag 10 dinon tak thik se train karne me saksham hain, toh wo aage badhenge aur state level competition me shandar perform karenge.”

Trials Barpeta ke District Sports Officer Dhruba Jyoti Deka, Barpeta ke District Information & Public Relations Officer Rana Pratap Saikia, Physical Instructors and other stakeholders ke under me organize ki gayi.
Meeting me present officials ne participants ki odds ke baawjood achha perform karne ke liye commend kiya aur unhe competition ke aagami daur me district ko gauranvit karne ke liye encourage kiya.
Yhan ye mention karna jaruri hai ki district 3, 4 aur 5 February, 2025 ko 1040 participants ko feature karne wali district-level Khel Maharan 2.O competition ko host karne ke liye bhi kamar kas raha hai. Ab tak akele Barpeta me 25,000 se jada log Games me part le chuke hain . Assam Government ke Khel Maharan flagship event ka aim rural talent and sports ki vyapak duniya ke beech ke gap ko cover karna hai.
