PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities are not limited to but include on-deck coaching; assessing and correcting technique; motivating, listening and talking with student-athletes; video analysis and working with underwater camera equipment.
Must be able to commit at least 10 hours/week, preferably during our team’s practice times – early mornings and later afternoons/evenings and weekends
Additional responsibilities

Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:

Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor’s or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 2 years previous coaching experience, competitive high school or collegiate experience preferred
Certifications and Licenses:

CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
A valid driver’s license required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• A strong ability to create a positive, fun and learning environment with the team

• The ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• A strong commitment to the academic achievement of student-athletes

JOB DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Requirements:

Typical physical activity of coaching roles: standing for long periods of time, walking, occasional running, long work days, etc.
Potential Environmental Conditions/Hazards:

Must perform job duties in and around a chlorinated pool
Salary and Benefits:

$15,000 for this assignment
