Location: 1802 Haworth Avenue, Newberg, OR, USA
Primary Focus
Train and coach Development and Performance level athletes ages 11-15.
Teach advanced level swim team skills to further enhance each athlete’s growth in the sport.
Plan and organize daily practices under the direction of the head coach.
Create a seasonal plan that fits the scope of the athletes being coached.
Attend all applicable, including championship travel meets.
Work with all coaches to ensure progression throughout the season.
Manage and mentor age group assistant coaches.
Introduce and encourage the competitive side of swimming to the athletes in a positive manner.
Communicate as needed with the head coach, parents and athletes, at a minimum of once weekly.
Maintain and promote a positive team culture.
Secondary Focus
Assist with coaching 10&U performance level athletes.
Hours: 30+ hours per week
Main practices held after school hours from Sept- Feb 3:00-5:00p and Mar-Aug 4:00-6:00p (tentatively)

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
4 + years of recent age group club coaching (preferred)
Valid First Aid/CPR Certification (preferred)
Valid Lifeguarding Certification (preferred)
Current USA Swimming Coaching Credentials (preferred)
Benefits:

$200 coach outfitting from Arena
Renewal of CPR/first aid and/or LG certification
