Job Description:
We are looking to hire a qualified individual for the position of Full Time Coach, who can build upon our tradition of excellence. The position reports directly to the Head Coach. This person would oversee creating and executing a strategic plan consistent with the TG vision, mission, and training philosophy; as well as managing the overall direction of several groups. He or she would serve as the lead coach for our Junior High Performance (13-14) and Senior (15-18) training groups.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain USA Swimming membership.
- 1-3 years’ experience as an age group coach, swim lesson instructor or teacher.
- Experience working effectively with swim parents and other stakeholders.
- Prior experience as an athlete or coach for the sport of swimming.
- Strong administrative, communication and project management skills.
- Experience with TeamUnify, Hy-Tek Team/Meet Manager and Microsoft applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A passion for kids, a love for the sport and an eagerness to collaborate with other professional coaches.
- A willingness to make a positive, impactful difference in a child’s life.
- A successful track record with developing both 12 & under and 13 to 18-year-old athletes for future success in higher levels of the sport.
- Experience managing or developing a comprehensive athlete progression from age group to senior swimming.
- Experience working within a medium to large sized program.
- Current coaching membership in good standing with USA Swimming.
- A Bachelor Degree from an accredited college/university (preferred but not required).
Compensation:
This is a full-time salaried position ($40,000) with benefits,
