The Director of High Performance will lead our top-level senior practice group (Gold 3) and will be tasked with
developing national-level athletes. In addition, this position will oversee the training for high performance groups
throughout the age group program and will collaborate with both the Head Coach and our Strength and Conditioning
Coach to ensure superior training throughout all levels of the organization.

with swimmers, parents, and coaching staff in relation to all aspects of the program.
● Demonstrate a cooperative, prompt, and respectful communication style with swimmers, parents,
community members, and staff.
Wet-side Deck Responsibility:
● Lead coach for top senior-level athlete group (Gold 3) and also oversee the training for high-performance groups
throughout the age group program.
● Coordination with our strength and conditioning coach to achieve dryland goals and objectives.
● Design individualized training plans, focusing on long-term athlete development.
● Create a season training plan for all high-performance groups that fit within the scope of overall group goals.
● Administer daily workouts and maintain group attendance.
● Attend swim meets as required (approx. 2 per month).
● Supervise and maintain a positive practice and meet environment.
● Follow all USA Swimming policies, including SafeSport, and maintain current credentials.
Dry-side Responsibility:
● Attend weekly update meetings with the Executive Director and Head Coach.
● Set key performance indicators (KPI’s) to monitor individual athlete and overall team progression.
● Develop and execute a long-term technical strategy that fosters a sustainable, high-performance culture.
● Utilize data analytics and research to refine training techniques and inform decision making processes.
● Manage group meet entries as lead coach.
● Send out weekly group update e-mail.
● Conduct both group parent meetings and individual parent meetings as needed.
● Conduct both Quad Reviews and Season Reviews.
● Additional administrative duties as assigned by Executive Director/Head Coach.
Qualifications:
● USA Swimming Coach Member certification and in good standing
● Experience coaching national-level athletes required
● Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Status:
● Full-time, exempt
