City residents ka wait jald hi khatm hone wala hai kyunki Sector-32 me all-weather swimming pool January me operational hone ki ummeed hai. Karnal Smart City initiative ke tahat develop ki ja rahi ambitious project ko jis agency ko saunpa gaya tha, wah ise final touch de rahi hai.
Karnal Smart City project ko manage karne wali agency Karnal Smart City Ltd (KSCL) ne iss facility ke liye power line and transformer lagane ki process ko start kar diya hai.
“Deputy Commissioner-cum CEO Uttam Singh ne agency ko quality ensure karte huye finishing work me teji laane ke nirdesh diye hain. Humein ummeed hai ki ye all-weather swimming pool January me start ho jayega”, KSCL ke General Manager Ramphal ne kaha.
“Iss project ke liye ak alag power feeder lagaya ja raha hai. Transformer lagaya ja chuka hai aur power lines bichhai ja rahi hain, ummeed hai ki kuchh hi dino me power supply taiyar ho jayegi,” unhone kaha.
All-weather swimming pool ak indoor sports complex ka part hai, jiska construction 44 crores ki cost se kiya gaya hai. Iske alawa, sports complex me spectator gallery, ak yoga hall, cafeteria and gym area ke saath four badminton courts hain.
Iss project par kaam August 2022 me start hua tha aur ise starting me August 2023 ke last tak complete karne ke liye nirdharit kiya gaya tha, isliye ye project kai deadlines se miss ho gayi. Halanki sea route se Austria se tensile fabric ke arrival me delay aur scope of work me changes ki wajah se deadline 29 February, 31 May aur baad me June ke end tak push ho gayi, sabhi miss ho gayi.
General Manager ne claim kiya hai ki iss facility me 2 pool honge- ak main swimming pool (50mx25m) and ak warm-up pool (25mx21m). Pool me 10 lane shaamil honge aur wo heating, filtration, lighting, timing system and digital scoreboard jaisi modern amenities se equipped honge. Alag-alag sections beginners, intermediate and advanced swimmers ki needs ko fulfill karenge. Children, men and women ke liye separate changing and shower room ke upar 368 logon ki seating capacity wali ak spectator gallery banai gayi hai. Unhone bataya ki facility me safety ensure karne ke liye CCTV cameras bhi lagaye gaye hain.
KSCL ke CEO Uttam Singh ne kaha, “All-weather swimming pool, spectator gallery ke saath badminton court, yoga hall aur gym se yukt indoor sports complex shahar me sports culture ko boost karega. Agency ko ise jaldi hi complete karne ke liye kaha gaya hai.”
