Paara chadhne ke saath hi MC ne Thursday se Rakh Bagh ke paas apna swimming pool khol diya hai. October ke end tak ye pool chaalu rahega, officials ne various categories ke tahat time me kuchh changes kiye hain.
Officials ne bataya ki MC ka ye pool last 39 years se functional hai aur general public ke alawa sportspersons aur even NDRF personnel bhi iska use karte hain. Unhone bataya ki coach aur life guard ke alawa pool me ak filtration plant bhi hai, taaki ye ensure kiya ja sake ki paani saaf rahe.
Men, women and couples ke liye separate time slots allocate kiye gaye hain, jo har din subah 5 baje se start hote hain. Residents seasonal fee pay karna choose kar sakte hain ya ak fix rate par lifetime membership opt kar sakte hain. Civic body ne ye ensure kiya ki iss pool ka seasonal fee city ke other pools ke comparison me jada affordable hai.
Membership forms ab pool me available hai. Single person ke liye seasonal fee 3k hai. Government employees and students ke liye fee 2k hai aur MC employees aur unke children ke liye fee 1400 rupees per season hai. Public ke liye lifetime membership (15 saal ke liye) 31k hai.
Mayor Inderjit Kaur ne kaha ki residents pool site par available application form fill karke required documents ke saath enrol kar sakte hain. Seasonal fee Sarabha Nagar me MC Zone D office me submit kiya jana chahiye. Pool 31st October 2025 tak public ke liye open rahega.
All weather swimming pool ke liye wait karein
Existing MC pool ke paas ak all-weather swimming pool construct kiya ja raha hai, jo April me open hota hai aur October me close ho jata hai. Halanki, new pool winter me bhi open rahega, jab isme warm water hoga. Next month tak all-weather swimming pool ka kaam complete ho jayega.

- Sportspersons: 5am to 6.30am and 3.15pm to 5pm
- General public/beginners: 6.30am to 8.30am and 6.30pm to 8.30pm
- Girls, women, and beginners: 9am to 10am and 5.15pm to 6.15pm
- Couples: 9pm to 10pm
- NDRF: 10.30am to 12.30pm
