BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Sophomore center Sophia Sollie has been named the MPSF Player of the Week, announced by the league on Tuesday.
Sollie scored four goals on seven shots to help No. 19 Indiana defeat No. 15 Arizona State, 11-7, on Saturday inside Counsilman Billingsley Aquatic Center. It was the first win over the Sun Devils since 2005 and first MPSF win of the season for the Hoosiers. This is the first weekly award for Sollie and first weekly award winner since 2021.
The Murrieta, Calif. native has scored 33 goals, five steals and two assists this season for the Hoosiers, who are currently 15-11 overall and will host Michigan on Saturday in its regular season home finale.
