ACC, ESPN 3 to Provide Extensive ACC Championships Coverage

The Atlantic Coast Conference and ESPN will deliver nearly 37 hours of live winter Olympic sports championship action from mid-February through early March.

No. 5 USC Women’s Swimming, Diving Hosts No. 7 Cal, No. 2 Stanford

The No. 5 USC women’s swimming and diving team is set to host Bay Area rivals No. 7 Cal on Friday (Jan. 29) at 6 p.m. and No. 2 Stanford at 12 p.m. on Saturday (Jan. 30) at Uytengsu Aquatics Center.

New Mexico Posts 154-145 Win Over Northern Arizona

The New Mexico Lobos edged out NAU this weekend, 154-145. After trailing up to the final two events, the Lobos came up with 27 points to clench the win.

Cornell Men, Women Swim Past Colgate

The Cornell women’s team picked up a win over Colgate this weekend, 177-104. The men also defeated Colgate with a 187-93 finish.

With just over two weeks remaining before the 2016 America East Swimming & Diving Championship, three teams competed last weekend. New Hampshire beat conference-foe Binghamton, while Vermont upended Rhode Island.

Pei Lin Named MAC Diver of the Week

Missouri State freshman Minki Kang earned three first-place finishes, with two coming against a nationally-ranked team, during a three-day span in duals versus Drury and No. 13 Missouri. In the Bears’ ‘Duel in the Pool’ at Drury’s Breech Pool, Kang made his first appearance by placing first in the 1000-yard freestyle in a personal-best time of 9 minutes, 16.2 seconds.

South Dakota State’s Ben Bolinske was named Summit League Men’s Swimmer of the Week while Denver’s Morgan McCormick earned Women’s Swimmer of the Week award for their performances during the week of Jan. 18-24.

After opening the season with a 3-2 record at the UCSB Invitational last weekend, the No. 12 Michigan water polo team captured all three weekly awards by the CWPA.

Ohio Women Knock Off Xavier, Duquesne

In a women’s tri-meet this weekend, Ohio picked up a pair of wins. They beat Duquesne 153.3-107.5, and Xavier 198-63. Duquesne secured a 195-66 win over Xavier to make sure they didn’t head home empty handed.

Saint Louis Men, Xavier Women Win Butler Invite

The Saint Louis men and Xavier women came out on top of the standings at the Butler Invite this weekend. Coming in behind the Saint Louis men were Xavier and Ball State. Saint Louis and Youngstown State were 2nd and 3rd respectively on the women’s side.

Utah Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving at Denver on Saturday

Utah will send its men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams to Denver this Friday for meets against the Pioneers. Diving will begin at 2 p.m. with the swimming portion of the meet beginning at 4 p.m.

Eastern Michigan Men, Women Post Wins Over Wayne State

The Michigan State men and women successfully swam past Wayne State this weekend to add wins to their respective records. The men finished with a dominating 155-67 while the women also won by a large margin, 150-86.

Ball State Claims Narrow 151-149 Victory Over Toledo

Ball State swam to victory in a nail-biter against Toledo this weekend, claiming a 151-149 win on their senior day. Seniors Sydney Harris and Madie Zirzow were honored in the win.
