The University of Iowa women’s swimming and diving team hosts Iowa State in the annual Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series Friday, Dec. 12, at the Campus Recreations and Wellness Center Natatorium at 6 p.m. (CT).

Iowa and Notre Dame came down to the wire in the men’s half of the Hawkeye Invitational. A fantastic 400 free relay propelled the Hawkeyes to a half point victory over the Fighting Irish.

Betulius Swims A Cut in 100 Backstroke, Hawkeye Men and Women lead through Hawkeye Invite Day Two

Grant Betulius shined for Iowa at the Hawkeye Invitational. The senior posted the number two time in the nation in the 100 backstroke with a 45.60. Betulius is behind only Ryan Murphy, who posted a 45.55 at the Georgia Invite.

Zachary Stephens of Notre Dame ran away with the 200 IM in prelims on day one of the Hawkeye Invite. Stephens swam a 1:44.26 to take the top seed for Friday’s finals.
