University of Iowa diving coach Todd Waikel and the Hawkeye diving program have been selected as a USA Diving “Center of Excellence” for 2014, USA Diving announced Wednesday.
The University of Iowa women’s swimming and diving team hosts Illinois, Indiana and Missouri in a quad meet on Jan. 18. The meet will take place inside the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center beginning at 11 a.m. (CT).

University of Arkansas swimming and diving will resume its 2013-14 season with a double-dual meet in Tuscaloosa, Ala., facing SEC foes Kentucky and Alabama on Saturday at 11 a.m. The team is undefeated this season in dual meet action, and the competition will mark the team’s first of 2014.
