Mikayla Morrow
Mikayla started swimming in Youngstown Ohio when she young. Mikayla was homeschooled throughout high school but was allowed to swim for Youngstown Christian High school where she saw success qualifying for the OHSAA Div. 2 State Championship meet her junior year in the 100 breaststroke. Mikayla committed to Westminster in 2013.
College
2013-2014
Mikayla saw varied success in her first year as a titan. At the Presidents Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship she swam personal bests in the 200 I.M and 200 Breast while falling just short of a best time in the 100 breast. Mikayla had a strong finals showing placing fifth in the 100 breast, seventh in the 200 Brest, and fifteenth in the 200 I.M.
2014-2015
In her sophomore season Mikayla saw drops in all of her times from the previous year. At the PAC championship meet she again made three top 16 appearances in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes as well as the 200 I.M she took seventh, fifth, and fourteenth respectively helping the lady titans to a close runner up in the conference. Mikayla was named to the All-Conference second team in recognition of her efforts.
Personal
Mikayla is a biology major with pre-med intentions at Westminster. She loves riding horses on the weekends with her younger sister Jessica and her younger brother Seth.
