Michelle York
Michelle swam for East Chapel Hill High School for four years, serving as a team captain during her senior year. She finished second in the state in the 400 free relay her sophomore year and third in the state her junior year. She was a summer Junior National qualifier and Scholastic all-American in high school. She also ran cross country in high school. Michelle graduated Emory with a degree in biology.

2014-2015
At the Miami Invite, Michelle placed 6th in the 200 fly and 7th in the 400 IM. At UAAs, she placed 3rd in the 400 IM and 7th in the 200 fly. At NCAAs, Michelle placed 7th in the 400 IM(4:24.42) and 15th in the 200 IM(2:05.44).
2013-2014
At the Miami Invite, Michelle placed 5th in the 400 IM in a time of 4:25.54 and 12th in the 200 fly. At NCAAs, she placed 8th in the 400 IM(4:26.30) and 15th in the 200 fly(2:06.31). She also swam the 500 free in a time of 5:02.22.
2012-2013
Michelle again competed at the Miami Invitational where she placed 17th in the 200 fly and 21st in the 400 IM. At UAAs, Michelle won the 400 IM and placed 7th in the 500 free. At NCAAs, Michelle impressed and placed 3rd in the 400 IM(4:22.67) and 15th in the 200 fly(2:05.08).
2011-2012
Michelle’s first taper meet at Emory was the Miami Invite where she swam season best times and placed 9th in the 400 IM and 12th in the 200 fly. At UAAs, she placed 3rd in the 200 fly(2:07.14) and 4th in the 200 IM(4:29.61). She also swam the 500 free in a time of 5:06.00.
