The Conference office announced today Josh Prenot of CALIFORNIA was named Pac-12 Men’s Swimmer of the Month and Rafael Quintero was voted Men’s Diver of the Month for December.

Emily Kopas, Allie Davis Named Big Ten Swimmers of the Week

Two Michigan swimmers earned Big Ten weekly honors, as Emily Kopas was named Big Ten women’s swimmer of the week along with Purdue’s Allie Davis, and Kopas’ teammate Siobhain Haughey was named freshman of the week.

Michigan’s Klein Named Big Ten Men’s Swimmer of the Week

Michigan’s Chris Klein was named Big Ten men’s swimmer of the week after winning the 200 LCM IM while helping Michigan to a win at the Orange Bowl Swim Classic. Klein touched the wall in 2:05.48 to win the event.

Miami Swimming & Diving Open Spring Practice at New Pool

The University of Miami swimming & diving team returned to the newly renovated Whitten University Center Pool for the first time in over seven months Wednesday to officially begin preparation for the spring season.

Tecumseh High School’s Jacob Schaedler Dies in Snowmobile Crash

Schaedler, a Michigan State Championship qualifier, was driving a 2002 Arctic Cat snowmobile when the crash occurred on the morning of January 3rd.
