Are athletes able to be on the Junior national team and the Senior national team? Gabriel Manteufel is on both of them
Yes – a few athletes are on the National team for OW and the junior team for pool.
LIAC!!
Congratulations to all the National Junior Team members! Keep reaching higher and higher and be the best you can!
What do the swimmers get besides their name on a website
Typically a Colorado Springs visit, and sometimes they compete together at a meet?
A camp in April (col springs) and some shirts/backpack. Literally nothing else… It’s very odd actually
Years back USAS had a number of cool programs which were motivators.
National Distance Camp
Olympic Festival(USOC)
Team Trip to nearby meets (Mel Zajac and the like)
Zone Distance Camps
Its been a letdown. Seems like USAS is just about saving money instead of
giving back to their membership. So many different things they could do.
Agree. It’s really nothing but a tag on Instagram and a week out of school, very disappointing
Way to start the new BCA (Beach Cities Alpha) era with a bang! Congrats to Miles and Gabi!
