The biggest difference tonight came on the fly and free legs of the race. Stanford commit Clare Watson split a 27.23 on the fly leg, 0.85 seconds faster than Heidi VanderWel was in 2014. Heather White anchored in a 24.93, 0.93 seconds faster than Ashley Sutherland swam 11 years ago. Watson and White notably improved from their splits in the relay from just two weeks ago when Watson split a 27.57 and White split a 25.65 at the Pacific Northwest Senior Championships.
Howard is committed to Michigan for this fall, White is headed to Duke this fall, and Weiler is committed to USC for fall 2026.

As much as we would love to have broken the record, Heather White is not American therefore no NAG.
