AT&T Winter Nationals and the Short Course World Championships are not the only big swim meets this week. Thanksgiving break is over, which means another weekend of midseason invites for college teams, and there are several to keep an eye on.
The biggest meet of the weekend for NCAA teams is AT&T Winter Nationals, where many college teams and athletes will participate.
Texas hosts the annual Texas Invite this weekend, and even though they have not seen official competition since the quad meet with Michigan, Indiana, and Louisville, the Texas men were blistering at the Eddie Reese Invite and will look to be just as fast, albeit in more traditional events, this weekend. USC, Arizona, BYU, Wisconsin, Utah, Wyoming, Harvard, Incarnate Word, The Hawai’i men, UC Davis women, and Notre Dame women will all make the trip to Austin for the invite. The finals will be broadcast on the Longhorn Network with ESPN’s Sam Gore doing play-by-play and Olympian and Texas swimming alum Josh Davis providing analysis. Live stats are available here.
Auburn, Georgia, Cal, UCLA, and Virginia, Florida State, and Virginia Tech headline what will be an equally-good meet to watch this weekend, the Georgia Fall Invitational. Both the Cal men and women will be in attendance, making this a must watch meet, and the addition of Auburn and Virginia will only add to the fun.
Another invite to watch will be the Hawkeye Invite. All roads lead to Iowa City for the Division I men this year, and this invite will showcase the pool hosting both the men’s Big Ten Championships and NCAA Division I Men’s Championships. In addition to Iowa, the Notre Dame men, Washington State, Denver, Milwaukee, and Nebraska will all be in attendance. Live results are available here, and the meet will stream online here.
Below, we’ve picked out all the NCAA Division I meets we could find. There’s a lot of teams, so were sure we’ve missed a few. Leave them in the comments and we’ll add them to our list. If you know of any video or streams, leave those in the comments as well.

At the Texas Invite pay attention to the Wisconsin Women’s relay…who the relay cards say leads off the relay and who actually swims it….too many coincidences to be an error the past two years….this year at Arizona and last year at Stanford…
Are you badgering the Badgers?
So excited for Joe Schooling, I predict he’ll be 45 low and 1:43 in the 100/200 fly. Also, the Texas invite will be the test to see where the Longhorn breaststrokers are.
MIT Invite too!
Grand Canyon University will be sending 22 swimmers to the AT&T Winter Nationals. GCU is in their second year of transitioning to Div 1. Good luck & Lopes Up!!!!
they must have gotten REAL fast, I swam against them about 6-7 years ago and beat them in the 100 fly. kudos to them.
