Philadelphia, PA — November 2025 — The 2025 PDR Harvest Swim Meet concluded this weekend at the Salvation Army Kroc Center, showcasing exceptional performances from age-group swimmers representing teams across Middle Atlantic Swimming. The three-day competition delivered outstanding swims, record-pace battles, and a deep field of rising talent, with athletes from PDR, NSC, B1ST, LIFE, FCA, RAYS, VSS, and Wildwood Crest capturing event titles.

A highlight of the weekend was the highly anticipated return of USA National Team member and World Championship medalist Destin Lasco, competing for PDR Swimming. Making his first appearance since this summer’s World Championships, Lasco electrified the venue with a series of sharp early-season swims, posting a quick 49.1 in the 100 IM, a smooth 47.3 in the 100 backstroke and 45.1 in the 100 freestyle. His presence brought national-level prestige to the meet, inspiring younger athletes and reinforcing the Harvest Meet’s reputation as a high-energy, athlete-centered competition.

The meet opened with fast swimming from both B1ST and PDR. In the boys’ 400 IM, Alexey Zaitev (B1ST) won the 11–12 division in 4:34.49, while teammate Feliks Filimonov (B1ST) — just 13 years old — claimed the 13 & Over title in 4:17.59. Distance freestyle events continued to impress, with 11-year-old Paloma Webb (PDR) winning the Girls 11–12 500 Free in 5:36.21, and Ambar Perez (PDR) taking the Girls 13 & Over 500 Free in 5:12.08. On the boys’ side, Jaden Bagley (PDR) delivered a new lifetime best to win the Boys 13 & Over 500 Free in 4:46.65.

NSC’s rising star Nicholas Larionov added multiple titles of his own, winning both the Boys 9–10 200 IM (2:38.71) and the Boys 9–10 50 Backstroke (35.40). Teammate Julia Paczewski (NSC) swept the Girls 9–12 breaststroke events, securing victories in the 50 Breast (35.81) and 100 Breast (1:18.07). In the 13 & Over division, PDR’s Kade Spencer had a standout meet, winning four events, including a new lifetime-best 1:41.99 in the 200 Free. Tim Markouski (NSC) added another marquee swim with his 1:01.99 victory in the Boys 100 Breast. Not to be outdone, PDR’s Anabelle Perez posted the second-fastest time in the nation this season for 13–14 girls with her 29.31 in the 50 Breaststroke.

Backstroke events featured dominant performances from 14-year-old Maddy Walters (PDR), who swept all three Girls 13 & Over backstroke races—winning the 50 (27.56), 100 (58.40), and 200 (2:07.33). Zaitev continued his strong showing for B1ST, earning victories in the Boys 9–12 100 Back (1:00.36) and 200 Back (2:10.11).

Relay events were highlighted by PDR’s powerhouse 13–14 Girls, who won both the Girls 13 & Over 200 Medley Relay (1:48.72) and the 200 Freestyle Relay (1:38.19)—times that currently rank 3rd and 4th in the nation, respectively.
