FRISCO, Texas – Today, the Big 12 announced winners of the Allstate Commissioner’s Cup and the Bob Bowlsby Award at the 2026 Monster Energy Big 12 Football Media Days.

Arizona was awarded the Allstate Commissioner’s Cup after accumulating the highest number of points (1,377.625) throughout the 2025-26 Allstate Big 12 Championship series, including Conference titles in men’s basketball and men’s tennis. Points are accrued throughout the year through Big 12 championship results, regular-season performance, and off-field achievements, including academics, graduation outcomes, career development and community service.

The Commissioner’s Cup launched last year to recognize Big 12 athletic departments for their efforts in fostering an environment that develops student-athletes both on and off the field. The award builds on Allstate’s 20-year commitment to supporting college athletics and helping student-athletes succeed in competition, the classroom and their communities. In addition to winning the Allstate Commissioner’s Cup, Arizona will also receive a scholarship donation from Allstate.

Allstate is the Official Insurance Partner of the Big 12 Conference across home, auto and property insurance, and is also the presenting partner of all Big 12 Olympic Sports Championships. Additionally, Allstate is the presenting partner of all original storytelling content that showcases Big 12 student-athlete leadership and achievement.

The Big 12 also recognized recipients of the fourth-annual Bob Bowlsby Award, given to the student-athletes who exemplify leadership and achievement on and off the field.  Established by the Big 12 Board of Directors and named after the league’s former Commissioner Bob Bowlsby, this award is the Conference’s highest individual honor. The winners were determined by a vote of the league’s athletics directors.

This year’s winners were Arizona State’s Jonny Kulow, Cincinnati’s Juliette Laracuente-Huebner and TCU’s Olivia Miles.

A five-time NCAA champion, Kulow concluded his career as one of the most accomplished swimmers in Arizona State history. The senior maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout all eight semesters at ASU and was a four-time Academic All-American and NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete. A two-time team captain, Kulow helped lead the Sun Devils to four consecutive conference championships, a 2024 NCAA team title and represented Team USA internationally, winning medals at both the Pan American Games and World Championships.

Laracuente-Huebner combined exceptional academic achievement with historic success on the track for Cincinnati. The junior graduated in three years with a perfect 4.0 GPA while earning a bachelor’s degree in speech language hearing sciences and a deaf studies certificate before beginning work toward a doctorate of audiology degree. A two-time Big 12 champion and First Team All-American, she set multiple school records and established herself as one of the nation’s top multi-event athletes. Beyond competition, Laracuente-Huebner dedicated her time to numerous community service initiatives and was twice recognized on Cincinnati’s BEARCATS STRONG list for excellence in academics, leadership, work ethic and character.

In her lone season at TCU, Miles made an immediate impact as the Big 12 Player and Newcomer of the Year while earning All-America recognition from every major publication. She led the nation with six triple-doubles, guided TCU back to the Elite Eight for the second consecutive year and was picked No. 2 overall in the 2026 WNBA Draft. A First Team Academic All-American, Miles maintained a 3.75 GPA and intends to complete her pursuit of an additional graduate degree while excelling in the WNBA. Miles was selected as the Horned Frogs’ team captain and actively volunteered in the Fort Worth community, exemplifying the leadership and service principles central to the Bob Bowlsby Award.
