semi-related take since Hunter Armstrong is swimming at nationals: He and other athletes competing clean at Enhance games kinda undermines the point a little, right? Like if the whole hustle was “look at our ‘enhanced’ athletes, watch as they shatter world records! And for the low-low price of even earlier male pattern baldness and $300 monthly, you too can be a superhuman” a clean athlete winning stuff subverts that.
Ik now Armstrong gives them leverage against the federations who ban all athletes who competed at the enhanced games(if that many even did), but that seems like such small potatoes to undercutting their own selling point. Maybe I’m thinking about this more than they ever did. and maybe no publicity… Read more »
