Four confirmed World Aquatics Diving Recognized Events will take place on the road to the World Aquatics Championships – Budapest 2027, giving athletes across the globe fresh opportunities for international competition as the sport continues its global growth.

World Aquatics Diving Recognized Events sit at the heart of the international pathway, giving athletes structured competition opportunities under World Aquatics Competition regulations, while widening access for National Federations looking to bring diving events to their home countries.

Here’s what’s on the board so far for the opening months of 2027:

  • Aquatics GB Diving International – 4 to 7 February – Sheffield, Great Britain
  • Madrid International Diving Meet 2027 – 1 to 4 April – Madrid, Spain
  • 68th International Diver’s Day – 8 to 11 April – Rostock, Germany
  • Canada Cup of Diving – 15 to 18 April – Windsor, Canada

Sitting alongside the Recognized Events is the World Aquatics Diving World Cup, which will feature stops in Canada and Mexico before the Super Final in China.

These events set the stage for the pinnacle of the diving calendar, the World Aquatics Championships in Budapest, Hungary, where competition in the sport will take place from 26 June to 4 July 2027.

World Aquatics President Husain Al Musallam welcomed the opening part of the 2027 calendar.

“I’m delighted to see World Aquatics’ National Federations continuing to invest in these Diving Recognized Events for the 2027 season,” said President Al Musallam.

“Events like these give athletes vital international experience and help widen access to the sport across our membership”
