Purdue’s women went 1-2-3 in 6 events on the day
The final day of the 2019 Purdue Invite saw a pair of milers and a 200 backstroker with some big time drops to claim wins.
Edwards started his day with a lead-off split of 23.28 in the 200 medley relay, which was the fastest backstroke split in the field.
Andrew Swenson from Bedford North Lawrence High School and Lawrence County Aquatics has verbally committed to Purdue University for 2020-21.
In individual results, Michigan commit Megan Glass (above) finished her YMCA Nationals career with a sweep of the women’s butterfly events.
Cooper has made quite the recovery from recent back surgery and will be a Boilermaker in the fall of 2019.
