Topeka’s Capitol Federal Natatorium hosted two State Championship meets last weekend to wrap up yet another season of Kansas boy’s high school swimming.

Wichita Heights emerged the victor this year, while Maize and Lenexa St. James Academy tied for 2nd in the team standings. With a couple of swims that would have won against 6A competitors, the 1A-5A State Championships proved a fast meet.
The Maize High School boys took down defending champions Wichita Heights by just .5 points at this weekend’s KSHSAA 5A-1A Swimming and Diving Championships.
