Pune Municipal Corporation ke 35 me se 10 swimming pools various reasons se close hone ki baat saamne aai hai. Municipal Corporations ke Sports Department dwara kiye gaye survey me ye baat clear hui hai, jisme pools ko reopen karne ke liye immediate repairs ke instructions diye gaye hain, especially summer season me.
Loksatta ki report ke according, Municipal Corporation ne citizens ki convenience ke liye shahar bhar me 35 swimming pools banaye hain. Choonki inn pools ki fees kam hai, isliye summer ke during ye large crowd ko attract karti hain. Present me, 25 pools open hain, jabki 10 close hain.
Agar ye pools garmiyo ke dauran band rahte hain toh isse citizens ko inconvenience ho sakti hai aur Municipal Corporation ke revenue ko affect kar sakti hai. Isliye, Sports Department ne necessary technical repairs complete karne ke baad inn pools ko reopen karne ke instructions diye hain.
Sports Department ki Deputy Commissioner Kishori Shinde ne clarify kiya ki city ke , 10 swimming pools band hain. Kuchh pools ne tender process complete nahi ki hai, jabki kuchh contractors ke unfulfilled agreements ko lekar leagal disputes ki wajah se band hain.

Swami Vivekananda Swimming Pool and Gymnasium – Bavdhan (Not evaluated yet)
Shivdarshan Swimming Pool and Sports Complex – Closed due to legal disputes and repairs
Deputy Commissioner Kishori Shinde ne bataya ki band pade 5 pools ko iss month ke end tak reopen kar diya jayega, jab minor works and agreement issues resolve ho jayenge. Baaki 5 pools me technical difficulties hain, jinhe reopen karne se pahle suljhana chahiye.
