PHOTO VAULT: Watch Northern Arizona’s new pool rise from the ground up

Northern Arizona University is getting a new home for its swimming and diving program, and coach Andy Johns has been kind enough to share photos of the new building from various times this summer. Swimming fans can watch a time-lapse of sorts as the facility starts to rise from the ground up.

I wonder if the school will make it’s facilities available for altitude training for elite level swimmers? Didn’t the previous pool for altitude training in Flagstaff close? I know the Australians, Germans, and others used to use it.

They still host teams they just work with a 3rd party company to book their accommodations instead of doing everything through the University. I am sure they will continue to do so, Andy (NAU head coach) enjoys having the international teams.
