Roshni Patra, Jo Ki Ashoka University Mein First Year (UG) Psychology Student Hain, Ne 23rd National Para Swimming Championship Mein 50-M Freestyle Category Mein Gold Medal Jeeta Hai. Mumbai Se Belong Karne Wali Roshni Ne Event Mein Maharashtra Ka Pratinidhitva Kiya Tha. Roshni Ek Athlete Hain Jo Visual Impairment Se Guzar Rahi Hain. Unki Drishti A Gradually Deteriorate Hoti Gayi Hai Jaise Jaise Unka Age Badhta Gaya.

Apne Safar Par Vichar Karte Hue, Roshni Ne Kaha, “Ek Visually Challenged Person Ke Liye Swimming Mushkil Ho Sakti Hai. For Example, Aap Hamesha Pool Ke Diwaron Se Apna Sar Ya Dusre Sharir Ke Hisse Ko Takkar Lagane Ke Risk Mein Rehte Hain. Mujhe Shuru Mein Paani Mein Jaane Ka Dar Tha. Par Maine 2017 Mein Shuru Kiya, Jahan Par Mujhe Apne Physical Fitness Par Kaam Karne Ka Incentive Mila.” Unhone Maharashtra Ke Liye Kayi Samman Jeete Hain, Jismein Ab Tak Chaar National Championships Mein Aath Gold Medals Shamil Hain.

“Roshni Ki Jeet Hum Sab Ke Liye Ek Misaal Hai, Ki Hum Mehnat Aur Lagan Se Kya Kya Hasil Kar Sakte Hain. Uske Mehnat Dekhne Wale Logon Ke Liye Uske Safalataen Koi Nayi Baat Nahi Hai,” Unke Coach Kiran Pathak Ne Kaha.
