Butte High School senior Catherine Russo defended her title in the 50 free, winning it for the 4th year in a row.
WA 4A States: King (19.8/43.2 Sprints), Dang (52.7 Breast) Break State Records
Dang, a Stanford commit, set the mark in the 100 breast. He was also the 200 free champion as he clipped his best in 1:38.52.
Wisconsin D1 States: UW Commit Wiegand Sets State Record, Then Splits 19.11
He anchored in a 19.11, which bodes well for the Badgers as it’s faster than any member of Wisconsin’s 200 free relay in last season’s Big Ten final.
