The Whitecaps of Westlake (WOW) is a year round swim team seeking qualified applicants for an assistant coaching position to work with age group swimmers within our program.
This role will require working evenings and weekends for swim meets and practices.
Position Type: Full time – age group swim coach
Start Date: ASAP
Description/Purpose: The Whitecaps of Westlake is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic coach to join our staff. The coach filling this position will be assisting with our 18 and under age group swimmers.
It is our mission to develop swimmers of every level and provide the best possible environment to improve and reach each swimmer’s goals.
The individual in this role will work with the staff to ensure that all swimmers and families are having the best experience possible.
Key Responsibilities:

Energetic, passionate, and committed to learning and improving as a coach

Ability to write and implement workouts

Attend swim meets as needed

Work closely with the head coach, Ian Crocker and take direction as needed
Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must be current with all USA Swimming safety and coaching requirements or willing to complete the appropriate certifications.

Coaching experience is preferred and/or a strong competitive swimming background.
Compensation: Pay is based on experience. WOW will cover costs of required certifications and USA Swimming membership.
