This posting is for a full-time, 12-month, exempt position. This position is responsible for assisting the head men’s and women’s swimming and diving coach in implementing and directing all phases of a competitive NCAA Division II men’s and women’s swimming and diving program. This position is also responsible for the complete management, supervision and coordination of the operation of the Sink Natatorium (i.e. scheduling of pool hours, lifeguards, etc.). This position will serve as the co-director and will administer all aspects of the Learn to Swim Lessons Program.

Physical Demands
Walks, sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves continually during working hours. Is subject to lifting over 50 pounds. 1. Knowledge of intercollegiate athletics, rules and regulations of athletic associations and conferences including eligibility, recruiting and certification.
2. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, faculty, staff and the public.
3. Strong organizational, oral and written communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
4. Knowledge and skill in using integrated software systems and Microsoft applications (Hy-Tekch Team & Meet Manager, Colorado Timing System, etc.).
5. Ability to mentally and physically perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
6. Ability to protect confidential information and present a professional demeanor.
7. Team-oriented individual with willingness to take initiative and be flexible, and the ability to work under occasional pressure.
8. Ability to work effectively with an ethnic, cultural and diverse student population.
9. Valid driver’s license, CPR/AED/First Aid/Lifeguard certification and safe driving record.
