ROLE SUMMARY

The Swimming Simply Administrator is a great fit for someone who has experience in aquatics and leading and managing teams and enjoys working with families and customers. The Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the administrative needs of our “Big Pool” programming for swimmers aged 5-18 and for providing exceptional customer service, parent engagement, deck management and coaching. You will also be managing a staff of mostly part-time swim coaches, and will be responsible for managing our leases with facilities. You love the sport of swimming, and are ready to lean into a leadership role that is primed for growth. You will be an integral member of the Leadership Team.
WORK LOCATION
Swim Otters in Wheat Ridge, Morey Middle School in Denver & Aurora Central High School in Aurora
HOURS
This is a full-time position and hours will be determined by the operational needs of the company but may include:
- Monday-Thursday: 12:00pm-8:00pm
- Saturday: 9:30am-3:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns regarding class makeups, instructor feedback and other programmatic issues
- Ensure that swimmers are in the correct levels, and make recommendations about how to best support individualized swimmer needs
- Teach swim lessons to youth and adults, as needed
- Manage part-time staff (~10)
- Hire new staff as needed

Ensure that all students are checked-in and ready to start their lesson on time.

Ensure swimmer safety at all times.
- Report all pool issues to the Swimming Simply Program Director
- Manage iClass enrollment system for swim programming
- Use Salesforce to manage parent information
- Support other Program Directors with establishing program enhancements (e.g., new curriculum)

Maintain proper dress code standards as outlined in the employee handbook.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of competitive swimming experience
- 5+ years of experience coaching or teaching children to swim
- 5+ years of providing exceptional customer service and working with parents
- 5+ years of hiring and managing staff
- Demonstrated excellence with online system usage, such as iClass or Salesforce
- Manage safety and security of the swimmers and pools
- Familiarity with pool/facility maintenance
- Ability to prioritize tasks & delegate responsibilities
- Current CPR & First Aid certification
- Reliable, self-motivated and friendly
- Passion for the water and working with children
- Patience and the ability to communicate and work well with others
HIGHLY PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Current Lifeguard certification
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) Certification
WORKING CONDITIONS

Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds in weight
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$55,000-$62,000/year, depending on experience
Bonuses available, depending on performance of the company
