Job Description:

West Coast Aquatics (Mill Creek, WA) is looking for an Assistant Programs Manager. This position is responsible for assisting with the administration and management of our swimming lessons and other non-competitive programs. Additionally, there are office, instructing and lifeguarding shifts available and we are willing to create a full-time position for the right candidate.

Weekly Expectations: 2-4 days in-water instruction per week, 2-4 days of office or supervising responsibilities. We are also looking to build new programs and can have flexibility with the schedule.

Office & Lesson Program Hours:

Monday-Thursday: 4:00-6:30pm

Saturday & Sunday: 10:30am-1:00pm

Job Requirements:

Experience: Must have experience teaching/working with children, or competitive swimming and leadership experience.

Strong Customer Service Skills: This position is the first line of communication for the much of our business and the gateway to our entire program. Parents must be educated from the beginning on how to be a good swim parent and this person needs to be outgoing, friendly and personable.

Problem Solving Skills & Ability to Think Critically: In a fast-paced, emotionally charged environment it is critical this person can self-start, work independently and make judgement calls under pressure.
