Sun Prairie Storm is hiring a full time Associate Head Coach. As our team and our available facilities grow, we’re expanding our staff to keep pace. The position will be built around the right candidate, with the goal of continuing to expand our program with steady growth and strong, consistent leadership.
About the Position
The Associate Head Coach will either lead the Senior program OR the Age Group program, with the existing Head Coach/CEO shifting to the other position. The candidate will collaborate with the HC, but will have the latitude to put their own print on the program.
The Associate Head Coach will be responsible for writing engaging, challenging, age-appropriate workouts, helping to develop the coaching staff, and building positive relationships with swimmers, parents, coaches, high school coaches, and volunteers. Other duties include, but are not limited to: assisting with social media, collaborating on facility reservations, and helping with the Masters team.
Requirements
High School Diploma
Current coaching membership in good standing with USA Swimming
Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Certifications
Previous experience with a successful swim program, including working effectively with swim parents & assistant coaches, writing season plans, and writing daily workouts
Strong administrative, communication, and leadership skills, including proficiency in TeamUnify, social media marketing, and Google Sheets/Docs
Compensation
$40,000-$50,000 annually with customized performance bonuses
