SSCD Assistant Coach Position
South Snohomish County Dolphins (SSCD) is looking for an experienced age group coach, or one with an extensive competitive swimming background, who is looking to develop into a high-level coach. SSCD trains in the Mukilteo area (between Edmonds and Everett), primarily at Kamiak high school. SSCD, founded in 1966, has a strong history of success in competitive swimming, and is currently in a rebuilding phase, taking the success of the program back to a high level.
SSCD recently finished in the top 10 at PNS Champs, had many PNS Champs finalists, and several Futures and JR National qualifiers. Numerous team records have been broken over the past several seasons.
This coaching position will focus on the development of our 11-14 year-old swimmers, will require 16-24 hours of deck time/week, plus swim meets, and additional administrative time as needed. The overall job entails approximately 25-35 hours/week average. This position will report to, and will coordinate training curricula with, the head coach. The salary will be commensurate with experience.
