Gwalior Me Para-Athletes Ke Liye India Ka Second Heated Swimming Pool

Madhya Pradesh me Atal Bihari Vajpayee Para Sports Centre me Delhi ke baad India ka second heated swimming pool banaya jayega. 5 crores ki cost ke iss heated swimming pool project ka purpose para-swimmers ko harsh winters ke time training ke liye warm waters provide karana hai, jisse wo apne practice ko continue rakh sakein aur jada effectively compete kar sakein.

Late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee ke naam par, iss centre ko 170 crores ki cost se Gwalior me establish karwaya gaya tha, jo para-athletes ke liye India ki first training facility hai aur isme pahle se hi ak Olympic-standard swimming pool hai.

The Upgrade  

According to officials, 5 crores ki cost se hone wale iss upgrade se ye ensure hoga ki swimmers cold water se hone wali hypothermia jaisi challenges ko avoid kar sakenge, jo winter training ke time par ak bada risk hai. Saath hi, ye athletes ko poore saal practice karne ke liye favourable conditions provide karega.

Athletes Ke Liye Ideal Atmosphere  

According to Deputy Director Pallavi Rai, heating system water temperature ko around 20°C par banaye rakhega, jo extended practice sessions ke liye ideal hai. Iss tarah ke system wala akmatra pool Delhi ke Talkatora Stadium me hai.

International para-swimmer Satendra Lohia ne cold water swimming ke health risks, especially strain on the heart and hypothermia ko highlight kiya. Unhone athletes ki safety and performance ke liye water temperature ko maintain rakhne ke importance par jor diya hai.

According to officials, upgraded facility se India me para-sports training ke liye Gwalior ki sthiti ak premier destination ke roop me majboot hogi.
