World Aquatics Championships jo Doha mein shuru hone wali hai wo set hai is baar ke event mein histroy create karne ke liye jisme wo is baar Doha mein hone wale is event mein highest number of athletes aur countries ko featire karne wala hai, aisa ab tak history mein kabhi bhi nahi hua hai. Swimming ke governing body World Aquatics ne Thursday ko bataya.
Ye event, jo ki Friday ko start ho raha hai, usme ye expect kiya jaa raha hai ki across 201 countries se 2,600 athletes ko jo ki six aquatic sports ke around 75 medal events mein participate karenge. Isme 2024 mein hone wale Olympic Games mein spots grab karne ke liye competition hoga.
“Hum log humbled hai ki is baar ki championships mein jyada athletes aur jyada countries ne compete karne ke liye opt kiya hai jo ki iske pahle nhi hua tha,” Director General for the event, Khaleel Al Jabir ne kaha.
Ye championships continue rahengi Feb. 18 tak Qatari capital ke around different venues mein.
