Denver Sweeps Weekly Summit League Swimming Awards

Denver’s Heidi Bradley was named The Summit League Women’s Swimmer of the Week, while teammate Sid Farber earned the Men’s Swimmer of the Week award for their performances during the week of Oct. 9 – 16.

WOMEN’S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

HEIDI BRADLEY, DENVER
Sr.  // Victoria, B.C.  

  • Named Summit League Swimmer of the Week for the first time in her career
  • Led Denver with three event wins in dual meet against New Mexico
  • Clocked 55:18 in the 100 fly, which currently ranks 31st in the country (55.08 a)
  • Co-led the Pioneers in three event wins at Wyoming

Also nominated: Lauren Oostman, Eastern Illinois

MEN’S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

SID FARBER, DENVER

  • Named Summit League Swimmer of the Week for the first time in his career
  • Earned an NCAA B Standard at Wyoming in the 50 free
  • 50 free time of 20.06 is currently the sixth fastest time in the NCAA

Previous recipients: Oct. 10 – Dylan Kirar, Valparaiso
