Background
Born in 1992 to Michael and Leigh Jordan, Stephanie began her swimming career at the Pabst Farm YMCA in Oconomowoc, WI. After a successful high school career at Oconomowoc high school, Stepahanie went on to compete at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
High School/Club
Earned all-conference honors at Oconomowoc high school her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. Named team captain while earning most valuable player honors senior year. Member of team which finished runner-up at conference meet during sophomore, junior, and senior year.
College
2010-2011: Had a successful freshman year competing for the mavericks. Finished 14th in the 100-yard freestyle at the St. Cloud State dual. Finished sixth in the 200-yard freestyle versus Nebraska-Omaha. Ended the season finishing 22nd at the Midwest Collegiate Conference Championships in the 50-yard freestyle.
2011-2012: Finished fifth in the 50-yard freestyle at UW-Eau Claire dual. Placed 12th at St. Olaf Invite in the 200-yard freestyle. Finished fifth in the 200-yard freestyle versus Gustavus. Ended her sophomore season placing 26th in the 200-yard freestyle at the Minnesota Challenge.
2012-2013: Won the 200-yard freestyle versus UW-Eau Claire. Finished 13th in the 50-yard freestyle at the UW Stevens Point Invite. Placed sixth at the Rochester Invite in the 200-yard freestyle. Achieved personal best times in the 50, 100 and 200-yard freestyle, as well as the 200-yard butterfly at the Rochester Invite. Earned the Maverick Sportsmanship Award at end of the year banquet. Member of the 2012 NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.
2013-2014: Redshirted her Senior year
2014-2015: Returned for her senior year competing in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, and 100 butterfly. Finished 16th in the 50 yard freestyle at UW Steven’s Point and finished 4th in the 50 yard freestyle versus Moorhead. Posted season best times in the 50 yard freestyle, 200 yard freestyle, and 100 yard butterfly at the New South Conference Championship.
