Baylee Carroll
On May 10th, 1995 Baylee Carroll was born to parents Thomas and Alesia Carroll. As a Massena, NY native, Baylee began swim lessons at a young age, and continued throughout elementary school. When in the seventh grade, Baylee increased her training when she joined the modified swim team. In the following year, Baylee committed to the sport when she joined the club team TRIBS in her hometown. She continued to swim club throughout most of high school, but had a great volume of success on the Massena Central High School Swim Team. As a Red Raider, Baylee was a part of many successful teams, broke a number of records, and received many accolades. When she graduated in 2014, Baylee moved on to swim at the Division III level for Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts under coach Mindy Williams. In her freshman year, Baylee held strong as one of many talented sprinters on the Simmons roster. She enjoys training and competing in sprint and backstroke events.
Club
Baylee competed at the New York High School State Championships all four years she was on the Massena Central High School team. In her time as a Red Raider, she was on three record breaking relays: the 200 freestyle relay, the 200 medley relay, and the 400 freestyle relay, all of which she anchored. In addition, she was named Captain and MVP twice, and received the Section 10 Sportsmanship Award.
College-Simmons College
2014-2015
In her first year as a Simmons Shark, Baylee stood out as a sprinter. She enjoyed competing in events such as the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, and really enjoyed the 200 freestyle. In addition, Baylee expanded her horizons, and began competing in backstroke events. She improved over the duration of the season and qualified for the 2015 NEISDA Championships.

Baylee is currently studying Nutrition and Dietetics at Simmons College with aspirations to one day be a Dietitian!
