Omaha head swimming & diving coach Todd Samland announced his five-member 2016 signing class on Monday, as Lizzy Giese, Bella Haegar, Brook Landt, Rachel Morrow and Camryn Somers will join the Maverick program in 2016-17.

In an attempt to dodge the winter storm Jonas, the meet at York was changed from Friday January 22nd to Wednesday January 20th. However, the team didn’t manage to dodge the small cell that brough about half an inch of snow to the Maryland/DC area on Wednesday night causing a 3.5 hour ride home to be 8.5 hours.

Senior backstroke and freestyler, Bonnie Brandon has been selected as one of five finalists for the prestigious Wooden Citizenship Cup, announced on Tuesday by Fred Northup, President of Athletes for a Better World.
