Duets and Teams Compete in Rio for Their Olympic ticket

With five months to go until the Olympics, Maria Lenk Aquatic Centre in Rio de Janeiro (BRA) will stage theFINA Olympic Games Synchronised Swimming Qualification Tournament, the last event giving the opportunity to qualify for the Games and to test the pool. The competition will take place from March 2-6.

2016 Women’s Pac-12 Championships: Day 4 Finals Recap

USC was successful in capturing their first Pac-12 Championship as a team this weekend. The Trojans finished 1st after a hard fought battle with the Stanford women, who were 2nd overall.

Amy Bilquists Sets New 17-18 NAG Record with 50.50 100 Back

California Freshman Amy Bilquist tore through her personal best in the 100 back to set a new 17-18 NAG and Pac-12 Meet Record, both of which were previously held by her Cal teammate Rachel Bootsma. Bilquist hit the wall at 50.50 during prelims.

The men’s 500 free saw another Texas freshmen 1-2. Townley Haas dropped 7 seconds from his prelims time to win the event in 4:12.63. That was a new lifetime best for Haas.

Both Cal and Stanford have 6 ups. They also have the same exact number of mids (4) and downs (1). That means the battle between those two teams to see who comes out ahead at the end of the night should be extremely close.
