Rebecca Westfall announced as assistant coach for ISU

Indiana State Women’s Swimming and Diving head coach Matt Leach has announced the hiring of eight-time All-American Rebecca Westfall as assistant coach for the first-year program on Monday. Westfall arrives in Terre Haute after a two-year stint at UNC Asheville and is set to begin her duties on June 1.

USA Men Defeat Australia 10-9 To Win Intercontinental Tournament Gold

Luca Cupido (Newport Beach, CA/California/Newport) scored a goal with two seconds left to lift the USA Men’s National Team to a gold medal at the FINA Men’s Intercontinental Tournament and a 10-9 win over Australia.

Indiana University Announces Barry King Resignation

Indiana University Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Fred Glass announced today that he has accepted the resignation of Barry King as IU’s head women’s water polo coach. King served 19 seasons as head coach after helping make women’s water polo a varsity sport in 1998.

Dana Vollmer Swims 53.59, Her Fastest 100 Free Since 2009

Since coming out of retirement last summer, Dana Vollmer has made a splash in more than just the 100 fly. This morning in Charlotte at Arena Pro Swim, she swam textile best 53.59 in the 100 free to grab top seed.

Maxime Rooney, Madelyn Murphy Set Records at North Coast Section Finals

Madelyn Murphy’s wins came back to back, first in the 50 free where she swam a 22.49. She followed that up with a blazing 52.15 in the 100 fly to set a new NCS meet record.

WPWL 2016: Five Non-European Teams Complete List for Super Final

Korenwinder’s 1:01100 Breast Highlights CIF Central Section D2 Finals

Mallory Korenwinder’s 2nd win came in the 100 breast, which was arguably the most impressive swim of the meet. Korenwinder swam a 1:01.14 to win the event by over 10 seconds.
