Just curious because it wasn’t really addressed in the podcast, but by what metric are you measuring “Gretchen Fatigue?” There was an article about the fly split that had 50+ comments, and an article about the meet itself has almost 100 comments.

There is definitely University of Texas fatigue.

Just a quick shout-out to the VT men: They performed out-of-body this past weekend. In particular, Carles Coll Marti, Youssef Ramadan, Brendan Whitfield and Mario Molla Yanes were “guilty” of setting multiple pool records at UVA and showing that they will be a force during Championship Season.

I don’t have Walsh fatigue, but I am sick of hearing about Ledecky. She hasn’t had a long course PB since 2018, and I have never watched an 800 or 1500m race of hers in its entirety. I guess it’s a bit funny to watch Titmus crush her in the 400m each time.

Especially because it will have not only fine Texas athletes but men and women from Virginia, ASU and North Carolina State in the pool at the same time.

Some world class head knocking is on tap.

One never knows, but it seems unlikely they’d be eligible this semester.

Coleman Hodges

Coleman started his journey in the water at age 1, and although he actually has no memory of that, something must have stuck. A Missouri native, he joined the Columbia Swim Club at age 9, where he is still remembered for his stylish dragon swim trunks. After giving up on …
