Lochte Hard-core, World Premiere Video

The Olympic media march continues for Olympic star Ryan Lochte. Wednesday, a taste of Lochte’s new workout video, Lochte Hard-CORE, goes live on his website, ryanlochte.com.

As you can see from the teaser video above, Lochte and crew captured the workout footage in Gainesville, Florida. True to his word, Lochte has stayed close to home to maintain his brutal training regiment on the run-up to U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha.

The video is produced by Erika Wright of Wright Entertainment & Sports and Lochte Enterprises. USA National Teammate and training partner Conor Dwyner offers backup. Matt DeLancey, Lochte’s famous strongman coach, stars as well.

Lochte is managed by Erika Wright and Shawn Zenga.

FROM THE VIDEO DESCRIPTION: A revolutionary new home workout series that is truly breaking the elements of home workout training. Starring Ryan Lochte, six-time Olympic Medalist and his trainer Matt DeLancey, Lochte Hard-CORE will focus entirely on the core. The core is the most important part of a swimmer’s body because it is the foundation of strength. Without a strong core a swimmer’s strokes alone would not be powerful enough to win the gold. The core is also the most important part of YOUR body!

“A revolutionary new home workout series?”
Maybe we need an explanation what’s so revolutionary about it. Those are basic core exercises. Erika Wright should respect Lochte’s fans more and stop trying to sell them crap.

Am I the only one who things this is low budget, and not very moving? I watched a preview clip for those Insanity work outs a while back, and the instructor didn’t have his own trainer wandering around the classes, he was charismatic and spoke with conviction. I’m seeing non of those things in the video. Sorry no way is he raking in his estimated $500,000 (see the latest CNN article) for these.

Ryan Lochte, “The Brand.” I like this very much. Phelps, Lochte, Coughlin, Berens, Jones…..we’ve got some smart swimmers marketing themselves and the sport. Exciting times.

Disappointed by the lack of keg tosses in the video.

I was disappointed that they didn’t put the girls’ swimming achievements up when they were talking…

Aww, he wasn’t wearing that adorable mini-microphone the whole time.

Quite the shot of the orange chick 53 seconds in.

LOL. I was thinking “is there a girl in orange somewhere I’m missing?”

It would appear RL also the director of photography for the shoot as well.
