TAYLOR MILL, Ky. – Xavier men’s and women’s swimming combined to win 26 of 28 events on the way to a sweep of Northern Kentucky on Friday night at Scott High School in Taylor Mill, Ky.
The Musketeers head to Denison on Saturday, Oct. 25, set for a 1:00 p.m. start at the Trumbull Aquatic Center in Granville, Ohio.
WOMEN’S NOTABLE
- The relay squad of Abby Bocian, Jordyn Libler, Norah Simich and Olivia Oyster set a time of 3:49.74 to win the 400 medley relay.
- Sydney Smith set a time of 10:57.17 to win the 1000 free.
- Olivia Oyster took first in the 200 free with a time of 1:52.71. Oyster also took first in the 100 free with a time of 50.55.
- Emma Tenhundfeld won the 100 back in a time of 58.21. She also took the top spot in the 400 IM with a time of 4:34.07.
- Parker Mandacina set a time of 1:04.80 in the 100 breast to take first.
- Ava Tenhundfeld won the 200 fly with a time of 2:10.73.
- Jordyn Libler took first in the 50 free with a time of 24.77. Libler also won the 200 breast with a time 2:23.89.
- Julia Sweetman set a time of 2:09.27 to win the 200 back.
- Abby Bocian won the 500 free with a time of 5:13.29.
- Norah Simich took first in the 100 fly, finishing in 56.98.
- Abbey Fish, Norah Simich, Jordyn Libler and Olivia Oyster won the 200 free with a time of 1:37.45.
- The Musketeers took first in all 14 events, winning the meet by a score of 197-50.

- Kyle Hudson placed first in th 200 free, finishing in 1:44.49.
- Truman Brun set a time of 52.28 in the 100 back to take first.
- Brayden Mandacina set a time of 58.03 to win the 100 breast.
- Diego Valdes won the 400 IM with a time of 4:09.56. He also led Xavier in the 200 fly, finishing second with a time of 1:55.26.
- Aiden Leamer’s time of 21.64 placed first in the 50 free. He also won the 100 fly with a time of 50.11.
- Matt Fralic won the 100 free with a time of 47.71.
- Nate Finnegan took first in the 200 back with a time of 1:55.34.
- Chase Denigan set a time of 2:14.81 in the 200 breast to take the top spot.
- Sean McGinley, Aiden Leamer, Matt Fralic and Kyle Hudson set a time of 1:24.88 in he 200 free relay to take first.
- Xavier won 12 of 14 events on the way to a 173-85 win over the Norse.

TAYLOR MILL, Ky. — Northern Kentucky University Norse men’s and women’s swimming made history on Friday night when they hosted the program’s first-ever home meet, taking on Xavier at Scott High School. While both teams fell by overall score, many individuals earned personal bests and program records.
Final Scores: Men: Xavier 173 – 85 NKU | Women: Xavier 197 – 50 NKU

Highlight performances included Hailey Paulick on the women’s side, who set a pair of program records in the 100 and 200 freestyle races, and Isaac Barrow on the men’s side, who recorded a pair of top-two finishes and set a new program record in the 200 Backstroke.
