WATCH: Fighter Jets Paint The Sky As Tokyo Passes Olympic Baton To Paris

Tokyo passed the Olympic baton to Paris during the Closing Ceremonies on Sunday, and the French capital produced a spectacular scene.

As the official passing of the baton happened, eight fighter jets flew over the Eiffel Tower in Paris, painting the sky red, white and blue to signify the colors of the French flag.

The Closing Ceremonies in Tokyo actually marked the first time that there was a live celebration going on in the next host city, with several fans gathering in Paris to officially welcome the Games to their city.
